Listings, estates, and family changes
When the house is between chapters
Some of the emptiest houses in Maine are not vacation homes. They are listings waiting on a buyer, estates waiting on a family decision, or closings that took longer than anyone hoped. HomePort can be the local, documented presence while the people who own the decisions are elsewhere.
For listing agents
- Visual checks while a vacant listing sits
- A written record you can share with the seller
- Escorted access for trades working a punch list
- We do not sell the house, and we do not ask for the listing
For families and estates
- A standing visit cadence agreed in writing
- Issue tracking and vendor coordination with authorization
- Occupancy, insurance, and who may grant access stay with the family
- We are not a property manager, broker, or fiduciary
Estate / vacant oversight, and property transition · quoted
These are not menu prices because length of vacancy, season, and access change the work. We quote a visit plan and dates in writing before anyone signs. Transition work is a defined window around a sale, move, or similar change: extra visits, access windows, and documented condition at agreed checkpoints. HomePort does not pack, stage, clean, renovate, or represent anyone at the closing table.
A note you can forward
If you are an agent, you are welcome to send this packet to a seller whose house will sit empty. The homeowner (or the person with legal authority) is the customer. HomePort reviews every arrangement before visits start.
